Rain Garden Workshop (Lewis County Stream Team)
The Lewis County Stream Team is hosting joining Bob Simmons from WSU Extension to offer a free workshop on rain gardens on Wednesday, February 1st at 6PM on Zoom. Come learn about the basics of designing and building your own rain garden on your property! Rain gardens are great for filtering pollution before it reaches streams, protecting salmon and water quality. Learn more about using native plants to create habitat for birds and pollinators. Habitat Work Group
Local Review Team presents the ranked project list for consideration for Salmon Recovery Funding Board funding. If the HWG has any concerns with the project ranking, they may ask the Local Review Team to reconvene, respond to the HWG comments, and make adjustments as necessary. If there are no concerns, they will recommend a Lead Entity Project List, including alternate projects to be considered for funding.
