What: Luc Lamarche, owner of Beaver Craftworks, will talk about our beavers, a keystone species native to North America. Following the talk, Luc will lead participants on a short walk to see first-hand the work of these swimming engineers — the beaver.
About Luc Lamarche: Luc has a background in civil engineering and in 2021 founded Beaver Craftworks to facilitate healthy coexistence between the needs of beavers and people. He collaborates with several national beaver groups and is involved locally with various watershed restoration efforts.
Light refreshments will be provided following the talk and walk!
