Regular meeting of the Habitat Work Group to the Chehalis Basin Collaborative for Salmon Habitat. Meeting will be held in the Classroom B of the Chehalis Tribe Community Center. All are welcome!

Official start date of the 2026 SRFB grant round. Project proponents are encouraged to start submitting project ideas earlier, though.

Come plant trees on this national day of volunteer service!  Location for planting event TBD!

• Now is the time to consider potential projects, attend workshops, schedule pre-application meetings and start working on applications.

• All types of habitat restoration and protection projects are eligible
• Points for benefiting ESA fish (30 pts / 10%)
• Still give points to “being in a plan” – we don’t have many left! (30 pts/ 10%)
• Points for quantitatively improving streamflow (30 pts / 10%)

Conceptual project forms due to the Lead Entity Coordinator for anyone interested in applying for 2026 SRFB funding.

All projects applying for SRFB funding in 2026 need to have the required materials uploaded to the state’s grant database, PRISM by this time.
Riparian Enhancement Plans should be ready by this time.
